Behold an array of random pictures I took. I stayed home from school today because of a snowstorm and well, I had to do something with my time. Also I am sixteen and like to play with my camera. May you be enthralled, appalled, and most importantly... Enjoy!!!

  Actually let me take a moment to confess how obsessed I am with this Japanese candy!!! It is so freaking good, like every flavor, even grape (I mean, who likes grape flavored candy) is good. I think it is the equivalent of Hi-chew (which is too expensive btw) and the strawberry flavor is to die for. Wow, I love this.

A New Day

 Today was my first day back to school. It's a new semester, so I'm trying to look at it as a fresh start. With a new marking period comes an opportunity to redeem yourself... and also more homework. I have a socratic seminar to prepare for,  so plaid and my favorite worn-in docs brings me comfort in these trying times I call high school.

My backpack is pretty funky, right? I got it at Hot topic. It's nice to have something as cheery as enthusiastic cats and tacos when I feel a little down. Hopefully this semester will bring me memories, fun, and most importantly... good grades!

Cup o' tea

Isn't it weird how something as insignificant as drinking tea can spark up amazing memories? For me, tea reminds me of my time in Russia this summer. I drank like five cups a day, and Russian black tea particularly became one of my favorites (Cinnamon was second best). This tea bag happens to be the last from the stash I brought back from Russia. This may or may not be my best cup of tea yet.

There's a first for everything.

I recently went to Urban Outfitters and was struck with fascination when I saw this book on one of the shelves. Maybe all I really need is something as small as a book to inspire me and push me to go after my dreams. I created this blog about a year ago, but fear prevented me from posting anything on it! I feel it's finally time to begin a new chapter of my life and open up to the world around. The adventure begins...!
